In the Swamps of San Antonio

Here I go again, wandering in the woods! Ohhh how I love to wander!
But this particular area, in San Antonio, Texas, had a totally different vibe from the last 2 woods that I had wandered off into.
When Your Ancestors Call You Answer
We found out by a local woman, that an alligator coming from this very same park, used to roam around the nearby neighborhood once upon a time.
After hearing the story of how her father encountered the alligator in his backyard, I still wanted to capture a few photos for my photography gallery.
There was this one man who was standing in the water fishing very comfortably, but I took heed to my own instincts!
As I walked down the small hill towards the swampy waters, my inner voice told me 3 things:
Continue to look down as you walk, there may be snakes or other unknown critters or creatures.
Don’t get too close to the water.
Make your pictures short and sweet, and then get out of here!
