What's Up With Tiffany Tene'-April 2021
Hey Hey Hey!
We are now going into the second quarter of the new year!
At the beginning of the year, I wrote a blog post about my business goals for 2021. Today, I am writing to give you guys another update as to what’s up with me both professionally and personally.
First Quarter Update
Travel
I am so excited to announce that I finally bought my VERY FIRST international plane ticket! whoop! whoop! I will be traveling to ________towards the end of the year.
I will keep my traveling destination a secret for now, and announce my location when I am there!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, (Houston, Texas), I am making preparations to set up base (about 2 months from now) in a location where the cost of living is lower. Doing so will allow me to save even more for my future travels, businesses, and investments.
Business
I have a new logo for my independent Senior Care business!
I announced in the first blog post of what's up with Tiffany Tene' 2021, that I decided to go back to doing one on one Senior care… In addition to offering corporate and small business senior care consultations, I am now going to be taking my one on one concierge services nationwide!
This quarter, I plan to concentrate more on marketing my new services.
Style—Tene’s Armoire
Last quarter, I created my first 2 curated modern vintage looks!
I also made my very first international sample purchase (with no middle man) from a company in Nairobi, Kenya!
One of my possible future products was delivered to me on Saturday!
My Blog
In February, my new lifestyle blog hit 1.5k visitors for the first time, then jumped to 4.2 to 4.5k visitors in March!
Most blog traffic came from Pinterest, and Google search.
I give Pinterest stories almost all of the credit!
Since January, I have been consistent with the new Pinterest stories feature. My highest amount of impressions came from my visits to Seabrook, Texas-12,000 impressions. My ocean video still has the most views and saves-5.7k views and 44 saves. Although all of my Pinterest stories impressions range from 7,000-12,000, the article that contributed to the spike in blog visits, was a post I wrote while reminiscing about our time in Corpus-5 Things I Miss About Island Life in Corpus Christi, Texas.

I also realized that I got the most traffic on my blog last quarter, by writing less, and focusing more on marketing and E-commerce.
This month, while trying to come up with the perfect blog, marketing, affiliate partnership, and E-Commerce work balance flow, I backed off a bit from Pinterest, bringing my traffic from 140,000-190,000 monthly views, down to 59,000 monthly views...
But what I love about Pinterest is that once you get back to consistency, it's easy to quickly get your views back up.
Overall, Pinterest monthly views will go down quickly if you are not as active, and rise quickly once you get back in the game.
I am still going to come back strong on Pinterest this quarter.
I have learned to focus on the pins that are actually bringing traffic to my website, rather than get caught up in Pinterest impressions.
Impressions are essential for getting the word out, but they say little about whether the marketing message actually broke through and how it resonated. Source: Think With Google
Nevertheless, Pinterest is still a very powerful creative platform!
Investing in Stocks
I have been heavily researching and studying stocks & bonds, and have created a solid beginner investment plan.
Have you ever thought about investing in gold, metals, and bitcoin?..or having shares in your favorite stores and apps?
What I’m Lovin’
Stiletto nails!
Since I do a lot with my hands, I haven’t been getting my nails done lately. I want to start back going to the nail shop on a regular (even though it's hard to type with them.)
It's all about the claws for me!
