How To Spend 24 Hours at the Marina in Corpus Christi, Texas
All the magic in Corpus Christi happens at The Marina! No matter what day you decide to visit, there will always be something exciting going on.
The fun thing about 24 hour stays is that you can make it somewhat spontaneous once you touch down.
And that’s exactly what I did!
But just in case you don’t like spontaneity, here is how you can enjoy a planned 24 hour trip at The Marina in downtown Corpus.
Breakfast
Start your day off by having breakfast at Morsel's Coffee and Tea located inside the Omni Hotel.
Morsel's serves pastries, muffins, bagels, and more!
After breakfast, walk across the street, and head on over to the beautiful Marina!
Watch the boats slowly sail on the sea, walk the docks, grab an electric scooter, take a boat tour, attend a festival, or tour The Art Museum of South Texas.
Everything that you need and want is within walking distance of each other.
At the Corpus Christi Marina, you can also jet ski, pedal boat, and ride surrey bicycles!
During my 24 hour stay, I had no idea that Corpus was going to have an air show!
So fun to watch!
Lunch
To feel the Corpus Marina vibe in all of its entirety, you have to eat directly on the bay at Joe’s Crab Shack!
Good eats, warm sun, refreshing breeze, ocean views, and lots of seagulls.
This is the life!

After lunch, go fishing, mingle with the locals, shop at the Art Center of Corpus Christi, or walk your food off by taking a stroll around the beachfront park.
The beach is right next to the Marina, so while taking a stroll, you may get a little distracted, and feel the need to indulge in a little beach therapy!
Just a lil bit!
Dinner
Corpus Christi, Texas is home to the infamous, mouthwatering, extra juicy Whataburger!
Partake in a piece of Texas burger history, by eating at Whataburger by the bay!
View the Marina by sitting on the upper balcony!
Whataburger is open 24 hours, and also serves breakfast!
Stay The Night
After an amazing day on the bay, you can book a Bayview Suite, and still continue to enjoy the Corpus Christi Marina view in your sleep!
